DVRK ROMANTICS began as a fever dream, a band built from intrusive thoughts, heartbreak, and the strange beauty of falling apart in public. Created by Rach Romantic (Rachel DiBiaso), it started in late-night writing sessions and tiny South Coast sheds that felt like portals to somewhere else.
What began as scraps of lyrics and voice notes became a mythology, a cinematic universe where lemons bleed, motel lights buzz, and desire takes on a life of its own.
This world is half surreal, half too real and it is where every DVRK ROMANTICS song lives. The town of Life’s A Beach was the first place to appear: a sunny nightmare where nobody ever leaves and the air tastes like nostalgia gone bad. Then came Motel Delirium, a neon refuge for lost lovers and sleepless minds, each room humming with its own secrets. Travel passes will be available from 2026.
Rach Romantic writes from the space between fantasy and fracture — where daydreams, fears, and intrusive thoughts blur into something vivid. Her lyrics turn anxiety into poetry, shame into cinema, and heartbreak into an aesthetic. The result is dark pop noir, indie rock and glam: romantic, sarcastic, and emotionally feral.
The bleeding lemons, the static kisses, the motel lights, they’re not just visuals. They’re symbols of everything we repress, dressed up as something you can dance to.
At its heart, DVRK ROMANTICS is more than a band.
It’s a confession disguised as a dream sequence.
A love letter to chaos.
And the show’s just begun.
